In our communities of Mpumudde, Bugembe, Walukuba-Masese, and Kyamagwa in Jinja, many girls grow up facing barriers such as poverty, school dropout, early pregnancy, prostitution, and lack of mentorship that limit their future.
We, at Oliren Foundation, are changing this story through an unexpected but powerful tool: soccer.
The Oliren Titans is our girls’ soccer team consisting of 36 passionate girls under the age of 17, selected from Mpumudde, Bugembe, Walukuba-Masese, and Kyamagwa communities. For these girls, soccer is not just a sport; it is a Pathway to Hope, Education, and Opportunity.
Participation in the team is directly linked to education.
We ensure that the players:
