Oliren Foundation is a non-profit community-based organization working in Mpumudde, Bugembe, Walukuba-Masese and Kyamagwa communities of Jinja, Uganda, East Africa. We empower women, youth, and vulnerable children with vocational skills, microfinance support, girls’ empowerment through sports, education, digital learning access and community health initiatives.
Begun in 2018, but formally registered in 2022 to strengthen our governance, accountability and capacity so as to partner with donors and institutions, Oliren Foundation has worked directly with the target communities to address various challenges affecting them, ranging from limited economic opportunities to inadequate access to health and social support programs.
Our working policy is enshrined in a simple but powerful belief that lasting changes happen when community members are empowered to lead in developing their own communities.

To empower vulnerable communities through education, health support, technology and sustainable development initiatives so as to improve their standards of living.

We strive to create positive
change, empower.

We work to ensure that the available resources are shared fairly and used in the best way to benefit communities providing them the chance to build sustainable paths out of poverty.
